(NOTE: As a general rule, it is a good idea to "Right Click" on each button and then choose "Open in New Tab". This way, you will not accidentally close the Weebly website when you click on a button.)

E-Learning Routine: Using everyday learning materials and the internet.
1. Independent Reading at Home
Comfy Chair Reading Assignment:
Locate the best place you can find in your house and read for 20-30 minutes from a book at your level, without stopping. Press the button below and print the Reading Log. (If you can't print it, set up your own piece of paper with the same boxes.) Complete one entry for each e-learning day. Students have a copy of the Reading Log in the "Language Arts" section of their binders. Bring the log to school. |
2. ReadWorks online
Click the button below to get to readworks.org. Enter our class code: LFYRKU. Then select your name from our class list. Your password is 1234. Complete the assignment called "Honoring King" which is due on the next upcoming school day. Be sure you do all the parts of the lesson. Look at the tabs and click on all of them to be sure you don't miss anything. You will receive a grade for your work on this assignment, so do your best.
3. Spelling and Handwriting
|
Study this week's spelling words. Look for spelling patterns and think of ways to remember each word's spelling. Write each of your spelling words two times in cursive, and bring this paper to class on your next school day. Be sure you are ready for the spelling test on Friday, 2/7
4. English
Write a 9 sentence paragraph following the outline you have in the Language Arts Section of your binder. You may choose from the following topics: My favorite foods, my favorite pets, or my favorite relatives. (The Outline for the paragraph is also found on page 20 of the Shurley Parent Handbook, found at the button below.)
5. Math
Drill and practice multiplication and division flash cards.
6. Memory Work
Practice the Memory Work which is due on Friday, 2/7
In the same way He calls, gathers, enlightens, and sanctifies the whole Christian church on earth, and keeps it with Jesus Christ in the one true faith. In this Christian church He daily and richly forgives all my sins and the sins of all believers. On the Last Day He will raise me and all the dead, and give eternal life to me and all believers in Christ.
This is most certainly true.
